Recently, ZOOMLION successfully delivered two HZS180R offshore platform mixing plant production lines to the customer. With its excellent high reliability, safety and high efficiency, these two production lines will play a key role in the Xiamen Third East Corridor construction project in the A1 bidding section - an area with the greatest technical difficulties and the highest level of concern - to overcome the Strong sea winds, marine corrosion and other extreme construction conditions, to provide solid support for the construction of the project.
Xiamen Third East Corridor, as a major national strategic project, is not only the highest single investment in Fujian Province in the history of the highway project, but also the most convenient channel connecting Xiamen Island and Xiang'an Airport. Upon completion, the project will greatly improve the layout of Xiamen's cross-sea corridors and provide a strong transport guarantee for the opening-up, collaborative development and overall prosperity of the Economic Zone on the West Coast of the Taiwan Strait.
Facing the high difficulty of offshore construction and the strict requirements of structural durability, ZOOMLION has fully considered the special working conditions of offshore installation and construction in the construction of the mixing plant. By integrating the offshore fixed platform with the steel pipe pile structure, a customised design has been carried out to ensure efficient operation under the harsh environment of strong winds and seawater erosion, etc. The HZS180R containerised mixing plant adopts a modularised design, with the internal pipelines of the modules being pre-assembled at the factory, and the inter-module pipelines being connected through quick couplings, making it possible for each layer of the modules to be assembled at the ground level and then lifted as a whole, which is both convenient and safe. Meanwhile, the container-type outer seal design also meets the requirements of typhoon resistance.
In addition, the mixing plant's aggregate yard adopts a fully enclosed windproof structure and is equipped with a dismantled large-capacity steel silo and an automatic loading system, which not only meets the demand for centralised pouring of large-volume concrete, but also reduces the difficulty of installation. The grooved belt feeding design not only ensures the conveying efficiency, but also saves the space occupied by the equipment. The powder silo adopts a dismantling design, with anti-corrosion paint superimposed on it, and is reinforced twice by a wind rope, which are carefully designed to ensure the safe and stable production of the mixing plant.
During the on-site installation process, ZOOMLION has formulated a detailed and feasible process plan for each step, from dock splicing, land transfer, lifting and transfer, tugboat transport to platform installation. With rich experience in offshore platform station construction, ZOOMLION worked closely with the process department and the on-site project manager to formulate precise crane installation steps and executed them in strict accordance with the installation plan, winning high praise from the client.
