Recently, the embankment construction of the upper reservoir dam at the Xingcheng Pumped Storage Power Station in Liaoning Province has successfully advanced to the critical elevation of 410 meters, marking a major milestone for this key national project under the 14th Five-Year Plan. Throughout the construction process, SHANTUI SD34-G bulldozers and SR26-G rollers have operated continuously and efficiently, participating in the entire dam embankment construction. With a total installed capacity of 1,200 MW, the Xingcheng Pumped Storage Power Station is projected to generate approximately 1.204 billion kWh annually upon completion. The project's reservoir dam is an asphalt concrete-faced rockfill dam with a maximum height of 106 meters and a total embankment volume of approximately 5.63 million cubic meters. Utilizing a Linde heavy-duty electronically controlled hydraulic system, it delivers smooth vibration start/stop and precise closed-loop frequency control, guaranteeing uniform compaction and density compliance across all fill layers. Its intelligent control system, comfortable cab, and extended maintenance intervals further enhance construction efficiency and equipment uptime.
